Watery Hands With Bells On
As part of the cliched ventures that come along with a new year, one of my main attempts at change for this yearly cycle is to re-insert
my time with releases. I used to submerse myself in new releases when i’d get them. So, one drab goal i’ll place with this mediocre endeavor of writing is to highlight some new releases and bands that are really peaking my interest. Let’s shoot for one or two weekly. Here’s the first. 
Swearin’ is 3/4 Brooklyn and 1/4 Philadelphia, and it’s whimsical popish punk brilliance at it’s best. Ex members of P.S. Elliot, Wormburner, Big Eyes and more. I won’t lie, i started with a partial inward favor as the drummer is one of my better friends on this planet and an ex band member, BUT this transcends that connection easily. It reminds me if Jenny Lewis was obsessed with 90′s Aaron Cometbus bands like Redmond Shooting Stars or Cleveland Bound Death Sentence.
